every season has its beauty.
today, was the official first day of winter (so i was told by saz!). the change in seasons always brings some form of melancholy, and melancholy always leads to the itch to journal and blog. hehhe.
i have to say…it feels like winter in more ways than one. but i’ve never quite experienced more winter-beauty than now. makes me more convinced that we don’t live in an “either-or” world but an “and”; both ugliness and beauty experienced at the one time; both joy and sorrow; both heartache and love.
the day ends. and a new season beckons. what will this time hold i wonder?

Great picture. I’m going to have to check out getty images. It’s odd how melancholy moods tend to lead a person towards reflection. The thought of change can be exciting.
